I risked my life to find somewhere safe only to be imprisoned for nearly eight years by the Australian government. How can one even begin to describe the feeling of living in a cage for so long and the cruelty we experienced?
When my cage finally opened, it felt like a new life for me, a chance to do all the things I dreamt of.
I am an artist, guitar maker, and musician. Whilst in detention I painted over 100 artworks and produced 8 songs with the help of many great people.
It is important to raise awareness so people know what is going on in these places in Australia's name.
